Recently, we have invested in a new piece of equipment at our Lisburn Service Centre to improve our ability to distribute our products across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
The investment involved the installation of a new crane – a new hoist unit with new electrical cables and festoon tracks, a specialised rail system used to guide and support moving machinery like cranes.
Installed by Columbus McKinnon Corporation, the unit underwent a total rewire of existing main electrical control panel and new floodlighting was installed on the underside of the crane.
In addition, 3 LED lights have been installed on the crane to allow better visibility when working in limited light, and the team at Lisburn are now looking to get them installed on other cranes.
