Brian is an experienced turnaround, change management and restructuring professional, formerly a partner at PwC, with over 30 years’ experience as both advisor and principal across a variety of sectors and geographies.
Key skills include stakeholder management; leadership and management of complex multi-site, multi-jurisdiction projects; delivering results within challenging and ambiguous situations by maintaining an exceptional degree of engagement within and beyond the business / division; leading calmly and confidently under pressure.
He is passionate about people and development and as part of any role, he seeks to prioritise supporting individuals across a variety of roles building sustainable leaders, teams and legacies for the longer term.
Since retiring as a restructuring partner at PwC in 2018, Brian has held a number of senior Executive positions at Heylo Housing (COO), Barratt Redrow PLC (Director – Building Safety Unit) and Talk Talk Group (Interim CFO). He joined British Steel as Interim CFO in May 2026.
