The law makes it clear that everyone within the supply chain has the responsibility to ensure the safe loading, restraint, transit and unloading of all cargo.
At British Steel, we have recognised the requirement to provide relevant guidance for products and materials carried on and off our sites. As such, Load Restraint Guidelines (LRGs) and Technical Advice Documents (TADs) have been engineered for the safe transportation of our products.
The LRGs provide the minimum legal load securing requirements to ensure loads comply to EN:12195-2010 standards and as such, it is a mandatory requirement for all hauliers working on behalf of British Steel to abide by the guidance provided at all times.
