Rail Minister Paul Maynard today visited the British Steel stand at the Trako International Railway fair in Gdańsk, Poland.
Mr Maynard was accompanied by Andrzej Bittel, Undersecretary of State in Poland's Ministry of Infrastructure and Construction, who's responsible for railways in the host country.
The exhibition is in its 12th year and our rail team is showcasing British Steel products that enhance rail track performance and life.
Trako is the largest and most prestigious rail industry event of its kind in Poland and attracts hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of industry professionals.
Ross Walker, our Sales Lead, Rail, is among the team at the event, and said: “This is the first time we’ve exhibited in Poland and Trako gives us a fantastic opportunity to promote our premium rail products and services to the Polish market, one of the largest in Europe.
“It was great to meet the Rail Minister and Mr Bittel, and show them the unique rail products and solutions we can offer our customers throughout the world.
“Our innovative rail products can help operators tackle common industry issues and we’ve already had excellent feedback from visitors who’ve shown a great interest in what British Steel can offer.”
