More support for Children's Hospice

Our apprentices from the Scunthorpe site continue to support the Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice, located in Sheffield, with another successful fundraiser. The apprentices cleared out their old clothes and filled 76 charity bags to donate to the hospice, raising £1,400 plus gift aid.

Our apprentices also did a five kilometre run last year, which raised £2,500 for the hospice. The money raised will go towards helping local families and their children who have life-limiting conditions.

Andrew Stagg, Training Manager, said: "The apprentices have done a great job in raising a total of £3,900. It shows their commitment to helping give back to the community. The money they have raised will really make a difference to the families the charity supports. It is very satisfying to see the apprentice scheme delivering benefits to the community."
